Who are the seers of old?

In this case, "seer" means "prophet." Older translations have "men" but this is less sexist and also more specific.

Have you ever been asked that question before?

In fact, yes. In my choir, I was known for being very young-looking and also knowing a lot about vocab. So one night we were rehearsing this one and the director, teasingly, was like "[Ember,] what's a seer." My answer was "someone who looks for werewolves" in the party game werewolf/Mafia, I was feeling punchy. (I have a lot of in-depth feelings about werewolf and other games but this is not the blog for that.)

Is the harmonization pretty good?

I'd say so. Even my brother, who took choir somewhat less than seriously when he was in high school, likes to break out the lower parts to show off on this one.
