There are several adaptations of the well-known Psalm 23; they don't really form a mini-section because they're not all next to each other, but a handful are relatively close in this section. Psalm 23 is only six verses long, which is relatively short, so the adaptations can be pretty literal at fitting almost all the key words in. This text is from a Scottish text called "The Psalms of David in Meeter" [sic]. The third and fourth lines are repeated to form the fifth and sixth so fairly low Shannon density.

"thy rod and staff me comfort still" is a tortured syntax example, not pirate speak. "Yarr, these do be me comfort [items], matey."
