#832: My Lord of Light
Aug. 22nd, 2020 11:57 pmThis is the same English folk song arrangement we saw recently.
Pretty clever, or at least abstract, Trinity references--even though "light," "love," and "life" could refer to any of the persons of the Trinity interchangeably in my opinion, the verses flesh out descriptions of God as Creator, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. And then the verse is "Lord of lords," which combines them (and is also a title given to Jesus, alongside "King of Kings.") Lots of alliteration!
