Fairly low Shannon density; the lines are AABCA, where A is literally the same words repeated.

The first verse is apparently taken so directly from the Bible (Luke) that the lyricist doesn't even get credit for it, which feels a little silly since she got credited with verses 2-4, and there are lots of other hymns that are more or less elaborate paraphrases of the Bible and get credited to more modern composers.

The sixteenth/dotted-eighth rhythm is fairly rare (I would guess the reverse is slightly more common, but not sure about that).
