This is from the point of view of God talking to the people, as in dismissing them at the end of the service. All of the verses are from that perspective, in fact, so it's a little weird that they all have quote marks around them--we can infer that it's God talking from the context?

There's another concluding verse that got cut, which does not start with "Go, my children," so the Shannon density should be slightly higher. I'm guessing it got the ax for "I the Lord will be your father, savior, comforter, and brother"--the sexism, not the mediocre internal rhyme. This is one I remember liking as a kid, even the missing verse.
