#469: By Your Hand You Feed Your People

This is another one where I glance at it and go "yeah, I recognize this tune." Start humming it to myself. It's close, but not quite right. It's not quite the alto part either. And this isn't a very common text so it's not like I would have learned it to a different tune. I think on some level all the 8787D melodies probably merge together and I just randomly pick bits and pieces as I lose my mind.

There's an interesting "you are what you eat" phrasing in "we become what receive" leading into the repeated chorus of "Christ's own body." I think it's effective here.
