#307: Light Shone in Darkness
Jul. 25th, 2019 10:19 pmWhat's the lyrical setup?
There's a bunch of feminine rhymes on creation, since -ation can be tacked onto a lot of words (albeit ones that didn't rhyme before). Then the last line is "praise for the light," until the last time it's "prays for the light," get it, because they're pronounced the same.
What mode is it in?
I'm not sure? I would guess D minor, but I'm not sure if it even counts as minor or if it's some weird alternate thing because all the Bs are natural. So it doesn't seem to fit the classic "natural/harmonic/melodic" minor categories. Maybe just "natural with some weird Bs."
Was it written in like ancient plainsong or something?
Nah it's from 2003.
