#465: As the Grains of Wheat
Who is the composer?
Marty Haugen, with an assist from a 2nd-century Greek manuscript that described communion! That I did not know.
What is your association with this song?
When I was a little kid I came up with a set of hand gestures that went with it. Don't ask me to do them, I don't remember and even if I did it was probably little-kid cringy.
Why this song rather than something else?
Scattering...wheat...and harvesting it is an effective visual? I have no idea.
